The Northwestern University MRI Lab Research Core
Laboratory is a collaboration between the Feinberg
Cardiovascular Research Institute, the Division of
Cardiology, and the Department of Radiology of Northwestern
University Feinberg School of Medicine.
We are dedicated in the study of cardiac diseases through
the use of CMR and are currently collecting and analyzing
data from various internal and external research projects.
Our projects involve both basic science and clinical
research in myocardial viability, ventricular remodeling,
stress perfusion and valvular heart disease.
Currently, we are the CMR core lab for the
multi-center
DETERMINE
trial supported by St. Jude Medical, Inc.

This study will enroll approximately ten thousand people
across the United States with Coronary Artery Disease (CAD)
to help find other methods for identifying those who may be
at risk for developing abnormal heart rhythms that might
result in sudden cardiac death.
Please
contact us
if you have a project or trial that requires the services
of a central CMR core laboratory.
